Starting Wednesday, November 2, Google has made a slight change to the way AdWords ads are shown in Google Search results.
Some ads that have previously been shown in the sidebar (to the right of search results) are now being shown at the bottom of the page, below natural search results.
This is the result of Google’s efforts to continually improve user experience, which is a win-win for you as an advertiser, because it means they’re placing ads where users will be more likely to notice them, and, consequently, click through and land on your website.
To determine where your advertisements are appearing, Google has added a new “Top vs. Side” segment to reports.
