The ROI Team was founded by New York Times best-selling business author Frank Rumbauskas, whose personal experience with Google AdWords began back in 2003 when he started an online business with only a couple of hundred dollars and used AdWords so effectively that he was able to retire from his last job ever only a few weeks later.
Frank has become a recognized authority on Google AdWords and regularly speaks at marketing conferences and seminars. He's always a major draw at events thanks to his seemingly magical ability to make money with AdWords. Frank won the "Business Book of the Year" award from 800-CEO-READ and was recently named to Fast Company's "Top 30 Most Influential People Online."
Along the way, Frank, like most AdWords advertisers, decided to outsource his campaign management to a third-party company. Do you manage PPC networks besides Google AdWords?
Yes, we not only offer that capability but strongly encourage it. AdWords has 70% of the PPC market. That other 30% may not sound like a lot, but it accounts for millions of searches each month that you'd otherwise miss out on. In addition, some of the other PPC networks are less expensive than AdWords, and we especially recommend Facebook Ads for local businesses.
How long does it take to see results?
That depends on a number of factors, including the age of your campaigns (or if we're creating new campaigns from scratch), if you're using tracking, and what type of tracking and for how long.
If we're starting from scratch, you'll see immediate results in terms of sales and other types of conversions on your website, though those results will dramatically improve over time.
If we take over existing campaigns, it depends on what historical tracking data is available, and how those campaigns have been handled in the past.
In terms of tracking, if you've been using AdWords internal conversion tracking, we'll at least have something to work with, although for accuracy we bolster AdWords conversion tracking with Analytics as well as our own proprietary system. If no data is available then expect at least 30 days before we can begin major improvements, and 60-90 days for full optimization.
Why are your fees higher than some other agencies?
Google AdWords is a highly complicated system. In the right hands, it's a powerful weapon that will proverbially print money for you.
In the wrong hands, however, AdWords can do you more financial harm than you can imagine. Just a quick Google search will reveal the sheer numbers of people who lost thousands of dollars in a matter of a few days - or in some cases, a few hours - because they didn't know what they were doing, or because they hired a management company that didn't know what they were doing. To make matters worse, many AdWords advertisers suddenly find themselves banned for life and don't even know why. We'll make sure all aspects of your website are fully compliant with Google policies to avoid that calamity.
